The wind of change is blowing for the West and North West Coast of Ireland that will make this area the Klondike of Europe. Its time for Ireland Inc. to realise the golden opportunity to generate 30GW of wind energy, 3000 jobs across multiple sectors and become a net exporter of electricity.
The time is now to rally the support of financial institutions with capital, industry with innovation, technology & resources and, politicians with policy to focus on making this a tangible common goal with real action for Ireland Inc.
The benefits will bring wealth to economically disadvantages areas of Ireland through new industry development at ports while making a significant contribution to CO2 Emissions reduction.
I think that Minister Eamon Ryan is fantactic at creating the Vision and the Policy but its time for Industry Leaders in Ireland to mobilise and make it happen.
